Streamlining backups for financial workflows

Post by DylanSware »

Hi all,

I’m managing a few investment portfolios and the sheer amount of files piling up each week is becoming a proper headache. Between bank statements, CSV exports and analyst reports, sorting everything manually is just not on. I’ve set up SyncBackPro to sync everything between my NAS and main PC but some backups are noticeably slow, particularly the larger folders. Tried different profiles and filters, but a few directories still crawl. I need to keep a full history for audit purposes, so there’s no cutting corners. For anyone who’s dealt with substantial financial data flows using SyncBack, I’d be keen to hear how you keep backups smooth and responsive even when running multi threaded. It’s a bit of a balancing act keeping everything up to date without hogging resources for hours so any tips or tricks would be really appreciated.
