Ghost image

Post by SafeTex »

Hello

This question must have been asked a hundred times before but I cannot find it.

Does the SyncBackPro version let you make ghost images that can be used to restore an entire O/S plus all of its files?

If not, is there any BrightSparks product that does this?

Thanks

Hi,

The answer is simply no, there is no SyncBack application that does this. You can read more about this at:

Thanks,

Thanks Kostas

On the article, the only thing I wouldn't entirely agree on is that your back up would contain the same faults that crashed your system. The idea is to make a ghost image of stable set ups and not necessarily to try to reinstall the last image that crashed.

But I'm surprised that Brighsparks does not have such a software as it would seem to be a natural extension of what they do, but then again, I'm not a programmer.
