SyncBackPro Duplicating Folders?

Hello,

We have a small business where all our documents are saved onto a Synology NAS, and then once per day in the evening due to our slow upload speed, we backup all our files onto Google Drive using SyncBackPro.

We have a "Main" and a "Management" folder, each of which is mapped to it's own drive letter in windows and given the appropriate permissions for which employee needs access to those files. SyncBackPro has started duplicating the folder structure. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to this, and it will sync different files to each of the root directories every night.

This is a problem, because /Main/Clients/ABC might be synced to "Main1" on Monday night, "Main3" on Tuesday night, back to "Main1" etc. Often we have to look through all four folders to ensure we are using the most recent and up to date versions of files we want to access remotely.

Above is an image which shows what I mean - the Management folder has been duplicated once, and the Main folder has been duplicated three times.

Would really appreciate anyone's input. I have SBP setup to mirror our NAS to Google Drive, with source overwriting Google Drive and any files on Google Drive but not on the source are deleted.

Also trying to find an easy way in Google to merge folders. Would be nice to keep my version history for each file, rather than just deleting my oldest versions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, but I think I might have to end up opening a support ticket.

Hi,

You haven’t stated the SyncBackPro version you are using? If you are not using the latest version (V7.6.36.0), then I would suggest you to upgrade to the latest version and re-run the profile to see if it helps. You can download and install the latest version from here:

Do not uninstall and reinstall, or you'll lose your profiles & settings. Just install 'over the top'.

If the issue persists, please submit a Support Zip with debug log for further investigation. You can submit a support ticket by using the Contact Support link in this article:
