Backup from flat to folders-by-date

Post by maxibaut »

Hi,

Im new to this product and I love it.
I have 2 mobile phone of which I backup their pictures.
I would like to copy all pictures to my NAS, but put them in a folderstructure by date.
+ create destination folder.

MOBILE\DCIM -> 2017\YYYYMMDD

Is this possible with the product?
Is yes, can you point me a way please?

greetings,
Swapna

Hi,

You can add a variable such as %DATE% in your Destination path. Please read this forum post for more details:

Thank you.

thanks,

My request is different than the post included in your answer.

I want the tool to look to the day the pictures were taken and create a folder for that day.

If you rerun the profile, it would not create any other file if no additional files were added.

Ill have a look if I can find a variable for that.

This might help?

Same caveats apply (I can't help with design or set-up); info supplied without prejudice, etc.
