How To BackUp Windows 10 HDD (Not Imaging) ???

Post by marcelo.anexa »

Hi there,

New on SyncBack Pro anda trying to backup my C:\ HDD (before I start to Format my main HDD) to an external HDD.

But I am looking for a way to copy everything no building an IMAGE file.
Using the BACKUP function I am ending up with more then 1200 files not copied to the external HDD.
Mostly, Windows 10 Files, as far as I could see.

If there's a setup that allows me to copy all files from C:\ (Windows 10 and all my stuff HDD) even if they're in use, please, let me know.

I'm really looking for an answer for that...

Thank you in advance!

Hi,

Please note that our programs (SyncBackPro/SE/Free) are not designed to (and cannot) make an exact copy of a system drive. SyncBackPro is a backup utility designed to backup files-based data that are created by the user (that is, files created by you and do not backup system or applications).
