Omit a folder

Post by GeorgeSu »

I have one very large folder, Outlook, which is located in Documents. I would like to create a profile which omits one folder. I would like to create two profiles: one for all documents except Outlook and another just for Outlook. I can't figure it out.

Hi,

You can simply select the files/folders you want to backup and deselect the remaining from:

Modify > Simple > ‘Choose sub-directories and files’ settings page

or add inclusion (or exclusion filters) to copy the required files/folders and ignore the remaining under:

Modify > Simple > 'Change Filter' settings page

Please read the help file for more details on filters. With Change Filter settings page opened, press F1 to open the contextual help. You can also read this form post for additional details:

Thank you.
