No differences found for fast backup

Post by matthew.boyd »

I found a similar question but no answers. The first run of a fast-backup works fine, but subsequent runs show a success but nothing happens. Doing a simulated (subsequent) run immediately give the pop-up titled "Information" "Profile: <profile name> No differences were found." This pop-up window shows up even before the progress bar in the main window starts animating. Looking below the pop-up at the main window, it shows in green text above the progress bar the number of files it should have copied.

I get this error when moving files from one folder to another on a network drive, either using a UNC path or a mounted drive letter. However, I don't get these errors when moving files on a local drive. Another profile successfully copies files from an FTP source to the same network drive, so it doesn't appear that permissions are the issue. This problem occurred in version 6 and now in the latest version of SyncBackPro installed on Windows Server 2008 R2.

Please submit a support zip with debug logs and the screen shot showing the progress bar for further investigation. Full instructions to create and submit a support zip are given here: ... ation-file

If your Zip is over 30MB, contact us for alternate instructions, advising the actual size. Do not try to attach to the ticket!

Do not post (nor links to) Support Zips on this open forum.

Thank you.
