Group profile logs

Post by simonbr »

I was wondering where I could make a feature request. I have a few setups that have multiple profiles that are running and instead of having one log for each profile it would be nice to only receive on log email letting you know if all was OK or if there was problems with one of the profiles.

Hi,

Sorry, but the ‘Email Log’ feature is only available at the per-profile level (i.e. for individual profiles). As Groups, can be nested (Groups within a Group, etc.,) the logic/permutations to pass the member profiles summaries to a Group is very complex, hence this feature is not supported for groups.

However, I will pass your request to the relevant department for their review and consideration.

Thank you.

I understand it can become very complex with nested profiles. Just a thought, have a variable set on the group profile that each other profile could change on successful, like a counter, then the group profile can determine if it matches the amount of profiles.... the email doesn't have to contain detailed logs, just enough to let you know if any of internal profiles failed.
