AmazonDrive Errors: Failed to copy from Source : HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request

Post by rsn8887 »

Using latest Syncback Pro 7 I am backing up to Amazon Drive. But I keep getting the following errors when backing up my ebooks folder. Here is an example:

5/16/2017 10:09:49 PM
\Books\Biology Books\Gray's Anatomy (ISO)\mdi-gray38.iso
Error: Failed to copy from Source : HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request

The annoying thing is, Syncback Pro uploads the whole file FIRST, and THEN decides to throw that error, after waiting about 60 seconds. Needless to say this makes the backup unusably slow.

Hi,

You'll have to generate a Support Zip with debug log for your profile and send it over to us for investigation.

Submit a support ticket by using the Contact Support in the below link in this article and attach the zip.
http://support.2brightsparks.com/knowle ... ation-file

If your Zip is over 30MB, contact us for alternate instructions, advising the actual size. Do not try to attach to the ticket!

Do not post (nor links to) Support Zips on this open forum.

Additionaly, can you verify if the failed files have been actually uploaded fine to Amazon Drive (via the Amazon Drive web UI)? Sometimes it's possible that an upload may say it failed but the file made it fine to the storage.

Thanks,
Kostas

Some of the files that generated errors are there on Amazon Drive, but most of them are not, I am now getting hundreds of errors, but not every file gives an error.

I will submit a support ticket.

I submitted a support ticket the log file is called "K to Cloud.zip".

Here are two excerpts from the log. First file gives an error but appears on Amazon Drive, second file gives an error and does NOT appear on Amazon Drive:
