Best settings to backup to Amazon Drive?

Post by rsn8887 »

I am looking for some help. I want to backup to Amazon Drive with
- minimum time scanning destination (is fast backup supported? Are delta changes supported? Which should I enable?)
- absolutely avoid re-sending identical files that have identical name AND size (don't care about date). I understand cloud file dates are not accurate. Can I base the decision to overwrite ONLY on filename and size?

Which settings shall I use? Is there a simple, quick setup to do this?

So far, my backup profile always tries to overwrite a whole bunch of files, although neither filename nor file size has changed. The creation/modification times and "archived" flags are wrong on the cloud though. I suspect it tries to use those.

Hi,

Fast Backup feature is not supported with cloud services like Amazon Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive etc., However, SyncBackPro V8 supports new ‘Delta changes’ feature with Amazon Drive. This feature will improve performance when scanning for changes. Therefore, I would suggest you to try with Pro V8 to see if it helps to improve scan times.
