Duplicated e-mail

Post by tjsz »

Some history

I did a test with SyncBackPro V8.1.1.0, the profile is the same as in SyncBackFree. 2 days ago it sent 2 e-mails, even if it was executed once by task scheduler. It looks like, after the main thread execution a "sub thread" was executed too.

Hi, check again? Though the emails were both sent on the 20th, they were ~23.5 hours apart. Checking the logs shows one run was triggered 2305 19th, ending 0021 20th; the other run starts 2305 20th (24 hours later than the previous run) but found less to do, so ended sooner at 2355 20th. So, though at a glance you can fool yourself into thinking they are both at roughly the same time, they did in fact start 24 hours apart and finish approx 23.5 hours apart. (BTW, figuring this out is not helped by the fact that the log snapshot named mail1.png & posted first is in fact the later of the two runs/logs, and the log snapshot named mail2.png & posted second is in fact the earlier of the two runs/logs :))

Note: your copy of Pro is out of date - you should maybe update from to Make sure you pick the correct version (32-bit) and simply install 'over the top' of your current version.
