I have been using SBP for over a decade and never have needed to create a forum topic until now.
I am running v8.5.26.0 (x64) on Win 7 (latest version as of today).
I am trying to run three different profiles that map to my NAS and run a batch file prior to map the drive if it isn't already mapped. I created a test profile that backs up a local drive to the same NAS share and that works fine.
The issue is my three profiles that have been around forever kick off and say "Pausing for 6000 seconds" and it starts to count down. Any idea why it is doing this? Nothing has changed on my end except updating Syncback Pro to the latest version.
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
Can you please check if you have configured SyncBackPro to wait for X seconds before scanning for changes under:
Modify Profile > Expert > Misc > ‘Pause for’ option?
Thank you.

Re: SBP Profile "Pausing for 6000 seconds"
Yes, I have a 60 wait prior to scanning for changes. On one profile I just changed it to 15 seconds and ran the profile and it started counting down from 1500 seconds. Changing it to 1 sec has the countdown start at 110 seconds...
I use this option as a workaround for when the machine comes out of hibernation and wants to run missed backups. Syncback Pro was starting up immediately, attempting to scan and promptly failing as a result of not seeing the NAS drive. My profile maps a drive via a simple batch file prior to running to ensure the drive is mounted.

Re: SBP Profile "Pausing for 6000 seconds"
Hi,
I tested SyncBackPro (v8.5.26.0) with ‘Pause for = 15 seconds’ but I can’t reproduce your issue. It started counting from 15 seconds. I also tried with Pause set to 60 seconds, and it worked fine.
Can you please submit a support zip (with debug logs) of the profile run to [email protected] for investigation. When the problem happens abort the profile run and submit the support zip as per the instructions given here:
http://support.2brightsparks.com/knowle ... ation-file
If your Zip is over 30MB, contact us for alternate instructions, advising the actual size. Do not try to attach to the ticket!
