Help with setup

Post by Merlin »

Hi.
I have my system imaging to an external drive. I'd like to schedule SyncBack Pro to copy that last file to a different external drive to take off-site each evening.
My external drive keeps 2 weeks worth of images before purging (large drive), and the drive I want to copy to is much smaller (I won't be able to use a simple complete Backup of the whole folder with the images), so it will only have the last previous image.
What I'd like to do, is after a new image is created, copy that new image to the other external drive folder that has the previous image and delete the old file that's already there. It can't overwrite it because the image filenames are always different.
Any thoughts on how to setup the instructions to do this?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Can you please submit a support ticket to [email protected] with screenshots showing the image files on the source drive (with their last modification date/time stamps and sizes) and second external drive for further assistance.

Thank you.

Hi.
I haven't yet purchased the software.
I want to make sure this is possible before buying it.

Hi,

First, please submit a support ticket for assistance. If SyncBack is suitable for your requirement then you can purchase the software.

Thank you.
