Hi,
I am backing up from my Windows 10 Pro 64-bit notebook to a Synology NAS via LAN (compression to zip and encryption enabled). The NAS is directly connected via cable to my PC - no rooter etc. in between. I also disabled AV. Backing up 500GB / 1.6 million files takes forever (Terminated this after 1.5 days with still 600.000 files remaining). I already tried the recommondations from viewtopic.php?t=11686 without success. When I use SFTP for transfer the transfer is much faster. Backing up the same data with Macrium reflect was completed after 6 hours. Any ideas? I need to use LAN as SFTP does sometimes mangle umlauts in filesnames which I could not resolve even with experimenting with the carset settings.
