Thanks for the reply. I have a couple more questions...
What benefit does the Google connection metrics give to a user of SyncBack versus the loss of privacy?
Can the default setting be set to off instead of on? (Maybe a check box during installation with an explanation of what each choice means?)

Runtime Intelligence provides anonymous feedback to our developers about the application usage (e.g. information about features enabled or disabled, Operating System used etc). This information assists developers to improve the software and the ease of use. Please read the help file > Legal Information and Trademarks > Runtime Intelligence for more details. When you run SyncBackPro for the first time, you may be prompted to grant permission to enable Runtime intelligence, but you can opt-out of this feature by selecting "No" during the prompt. Alternatively, you can disable this option from: Preferences menu > Options > Runtime Intelligence tab.
