Dropbox Sync - unchanged files

Hi Guys,

I'm have a backup running from a dropbox share to a local network share. The problem I have is that the files are being detected as changed when they are not. When the file comparison window pops up the Date / Time column for the Dropbox side is empty and so the profile then re-downloads all the files (about 8000 of them :shock: )

I'm also getting a lot of Critical errors of the type "Failed to copy from Dropbox : path/not_file/..."

do i need to use an external comparison program for Dropbox ??

Hi,

Please generate and submit a support zip with debug logs of the profile run to [email protected] for investigation. Full instructions for creating and submitting the support zip are given here:

If your Zip is over 20MB, contact us for alternate instructions, advising the actual size. Do not try to attach to the ticket!

Same here!!

My laptop was tethered to my phone and used up all my monthly mobile data allowance because syncback was trying to send everything to dropbox again ...

I've plagued with the same problem.
After a few hours researching, trying to change settings, rename files etc. I'm without a clue...
Did any of you guy's resolve the problem?
