Keeping a fix amount of zip files

Post by Zodler »

I have the version 8 pro so I don't know if this is possible in later versions.

There is a scenario where you want to backup into a single zip file with a unique name like date and time.
This is currently possible. The problem is that it does the backups forever in that case. We need an option to
limit the amount of zip backups to 10 for example. Or delete backups older than x days.

This is not what's in the Versioning. Is this possible?

Hi,

You can create a HouseKeeping profile to delete older files from your backup drive. Read the following forum post for more details:

Thank you

Thank you.

If you integrate this feature directly into backing up, it would make the software even better. Not just based on date but also how many zip files kept.
