Log in email body

Post by cmcruz007 »

Hy everyone,

It is posible to send a log with the files copied, deleted, renamed and changed in the body of the email, without attaching or compressing (in HTML)? In previous versions, it was possible...

Now, I only get it to be sent as email attachments...

Thanks!

Hi, modify your profile, switch to Expert mode, go to Log->Advanced and at the bottom you can define the email body. You can use variables in the email body, e.g. %COPIEDTOTAL%

Hi Mickyj,

But, is it not possible that the list of copied files appears in the body of the email? Years ago, in previous versions, it was possible to do it, sure.

Thanks!

Hi, no, it's not possible and never has been - 100% sure about that. The log is always attached as a file (HTML or text), and it can also be attached (compressed) in a Zip file. Perhaps you configured your email client to be able to view it as if it were embedded? Sorry.
