Sync up to OneDrive without full scan

Post by MW521 »

Hi all, I'm evaluating SBP as a replacement for OneDrive business. So far it's working but I don't like that it wants to do a full scan of the local directory, which takes a long time and is somewhat wasteful of system resources (I have a lot of files locally).

I don't need to sync from OneDrive down to my machine, I just want to upload (backup) my local files to the cloud. My current profile is set up as a Synchronize profile, and is triggered to run when changes are detected. I also had to turn off the delta API for the cloud (modify > expert > cloud > advanced > "do not use the delta API" because it was taking forever to run (after many hours running it was slowing to a stall with only a fraction of files scanned).

Anyway, is there a way to set up a profile that does the following:

- monitor the local directory for changes
- upload the changed file(s) on change (without scanning entire local directory)
