Was trying to copy about 1TB of files from an internal SSD to an external USB 3 HDD.
Syncback pro copied about 400GB which took 4 hours.
I stopped and did the remaining 600gb ish of files using Freefilesync which took 50 minutes.
What might have been slowing syncback down?
I use windows security and have syncback in the exclusions list.
I'm on windows 10 running syncback pro 11.2.5.0 elevated.
In syncback I used a profile that only copies files if they are on the source and not the destination. In this instance the destination drive was empty.

Re: Slow transfer to USB3 HDD vs freefilesync
Hi mozart999uk,
Check the settings in Syncback Pro to ensure that they are optimized for performance. Look for options related to file verification, compression, encryption, or any other features that might be enabled and could potentially slow down the copying process. Adjusting these settings may improve the performance.
