Hi there,
SyncBack Pro 10.2.147 (x64) on Win 10 22H2, keeps creating new versions even tho files are unchanged.
This is however only a problem with these files:
"D:\DATA\Music\Simple Plan\2008-02-06_iTunes Live from Montreal_M4A_256KBps\01. Shut Up! (Live).m4a"
What gives ? These are the only files with such issues, these aren't the only M4A from iTunes I have, but "Creation Date" and "Last Modified" both confirmed that last modification was last summer.
However, SyncBack keeps creating a new version everytime the backup run, therefore, everyday. Nothing big, it just pollutes the log, and is quite curious.
How should I troubleshoot this? I would convert to MP3 but I would lose the original quality (bit OCD lol) - would convert to FLAC but would simply inflate file size anyway.
Puzzled. Thank you.

Hello,
Maybe because of the characters in the file names
01. Shut Up! (Live).m4a
Try changing the name
01-Shut Up-Live.m4a
Best regards,

Re: SyncBack Pro 10.2.147 keeps creating new versions even tho file is unchanged
I have the same problem (although not a big problem) that some files are sometimes backed up even if they haven't been changed (or even opened) for years. It doesn't seem to be caused by exceeded path or filename length or odd characters in path, filename or file extension.
Even the CRC32 checksum of the files in question are unchanged. I have never been able to find the reason for this strange behaviour.
