Do newer versions support preserving folder Last Modified date/time?

Post by Zogundar »

I purchased Version 7 (7.6.8.0) many years ago and I've only recently begun trying to migrate files from one computer to another again. I'd forgotten a lot of what I knew, and one thing I had to learn again was that SyncBackPro did not synchronize folder last modified dates. At best when backing up to FAT formatted drives it would copy the original last modified date of the folder, but it wouldn't update it on subsequent backups if that changed on the source drive later.

I could have sworn I used to be able to "fix" it by running a profile twice, but if it worked before, I can't figure out how to now.

I'm slowly re-learning how to fix this with WinRoboCopy, but it'd be so much faster and easier if I could just get it right the first time.

I'd be willing to buy the latest version if it had this feature.
