Send Email on error only once if job failes

Post by Phil_81 »

Hi,

we are using SyncBackPro and have a few jobs which are running every 15 minutes. Email-notification is turned on, if a job failes.

If a job failes for multiple times because of eg. the target is not available (network error), we get a failure notification every time the job runs - 15 minutes, as mentioned. Because we have multiple jobs for the same target-server (but different folders), we get "spammed" with a lot of mails if the target is not available for a longer time.

Is there a possibility for sending the Email notification on failure only once, or does any one have another idea how to solve this? Email notification should be used for failures.

Thanks!

Greetings,
Philip

Hi,

If you would like SyncBackPro to avoid generating log files or reporting failures when the source or destination drives are inaccessible, you can enable the option "Silently fail if source/left and destination/right cannot be reached through the network, drive does not exist, or there is no disk in the drive" under: Modify > Expert > Copy/Delete > Network settings page.

Please read the Help file for more details about this option. With Copy/Delete > Network settings page opened press F1 to open the contextual help for more details.

Thank you.
