Hi,

When you say that the firewall is OFF, do you mean that you have totally disabled it? There is something definitely blocking SyncBack from sending out the email. Error 0x0000274d (as per the KB article http://support.2brightsparks.com/knowle ... ting-serve) means that your system is telling us the connection is being actively blocked or refused (that's a Windows error number, equivalent in decimal to socket error 10061 - it's not an error in our software, it's a response from your system). There's not a lot we can do about it except to cite the likely usual reasons.

Thanks,
Kostas

Just to add-on, it is also possible that an AV program or other security apps is blocking mail transmission from unknown software (example, SyncBackSE) which has not been added into its whitelist for full access, etc. Some AV programs have been known to restrict SMTP traffic (unless explicitly allowed) to prevent malware sending/mass mailing, etc).

Please note that your SE V7 is outdated (V7.0.32.0). Please update to the latest V7 copy (V7.3.1.12) by downloading the installer here:

http://www.2brightsparks.com/assets/sof ... _Setup.exe

Do not uninstall and reinstall, or you'll lose your profiles & settings. Just install 'over the top'.

I have the same error. I tested to remove syncback.exe from the firewall. After that the backup to my local ftp server failed. So I re-added it, but it did not solve the e-mail problem. I do not have any additional security tools installed. Only the default Windows 10 Firewall is active. Is the syncbackpro.exe the one that trys to send the email or do I need to add an other app?
