When are files deleted during Mirror backup?

Post by skeeter »

I am running SE v5.20. My question is about how mirror backups work. The scenario is that a folder name is changed on the Source, then when the profile runs, the first operation is to delete the destination folder, and later the directory is copied again to the Destination. This is problematic because it leaves a gap in time with no backup. On my system, if a lot of files are to be backed up, it might be 2 hrs between the delete and the copy action. 2 hours with no backup! Is there any way to change settings so that the delete operations occur AFTER the copy operations for a mirror backup? Or other recommendation? I guess I can always do a non-mirror backup, but I prefer to have a mirror.
