Help with profile.

Post by mozart999uk »

Can anyone help me with this?

I have 3 drives in my PC , let's call them A, B and C, that I make backups of, to seperate folders on one single backup drive. I have it set up so that if I've deleted data from either of those source drives, the data still remains in the respective folder on the destination (backup) drive.

Now I've started moving files from the source drives A and B to the overflow drive C.

Is there a way, of getting Syncback to check the destination backup folders of A and B first, before backing up content from source C - thus avoiding duplicates.....????

Hope that makes sense

Hi,

Sorry, but this is not supported in SyncBack. Note that a profile in SyncBack can point to only 1-Source and 1-Destination location. Therefore, it is not possible to check the destination backup locations of A and B first, before backing up content from source C drive.

Thank you.
