If you find a bug in any of our software, please submit a support ticket. It does not matter if you are using our freeware, a beta version or you haven't yet purchased the software. We want to know about any and all bugs so we can fix them as soon as possible. We usually need more information and details from you to reproduce bugs and that is better done via a support ticket and not this forum.

Can you please enter + in the 'Local computer name' option under:
Modify > Expert > Log > Advanced settings page
and test the connection. If the issue persists, enter your computer name in that option and test the connection. Please read the Help file for more details about +. With Log > Advanced settings page opened, press F1 to open the contextual help for more details.
I tried both methods (adding "+" or my computer name in the Local Computer field). In both cases the test email was sent alright but the actual backup process got stuck at 99% at the "Closing log" step and no email was sent. I had to close SyncBack with the Task Manager and when I reopened it the backup status showed "Success". On the other hand the backup process completes without a glitch if I disable the log email option.
