Hi,
as a counterbalance to the restrictions "# [ ] \ / : * ? " < > |" in naming a profile/group my suggestion is to create a function "show_optional_hint_on_mouse_over". When necessary this function will allow to pop up an optional more precise description what a profile/group does. The control element to edit this precise description could be invoked from the profiles (expert-)context menu.
thanks, keltas

Hi, for the next release, if there are profile notes, and the profile is configured to show them on import or copy, then they will be displayed in a hint when the name is moused over in the main window.
