Run Time on Dashboard - Suggestion

Post by garthgnc »

Hi guys, just a suggestion on an already awesome product if i may.. (use Sync back Pro) Can you add a RUN TIME to the columns of the dashboard. You can see it in the report i realise, but there on the dashboard is a great indicator if there MAY be a problem, something un-expected etc..like busy network at the time i chose to schedule and taking 40 min when should have been really about 5 min etc..

Great product PS..been using free for years and now pro..

Hi, see here where someone else asked the same thing almost exactly a year ago. Note there are subtle differences how you achieve it depending whether you use Pro V8 or Pro V7/earlier. There are also subtle differences in/with V8 depending if you use the 32-bit or 64-bit version. There are some notes on the Scripting download page (see other post for link) which one(s) will work in which circumstances.

You should note that this functionality is enabled by storing a special/new value in the profile's main INI file so your profile will not magically show a time-value in the new Duration column in main GUI as soon as you install it. You need to enable the script for overall use with main interface, and for each specific profile you want to use it with, and then run each profile to store the latest overall-duration value in the profile. IOW, profiles will 'grow' a duration value (for most-recent run) as & when you run them again; until then, the column will display a 'for info' comment to explain why the value is otherwise blank.
