Suggestion

Post by mmullins_98 »

Would like to suggest an addition to the column VIEW options (where there are options like Profile; Type; Last Run; Result; etc.). It would be helpful if there could be a column that could be selected to show the Last Modified date of Profiles.

Thanks for any consideration.

Hi,

Any use in particular for such information? What would be its purpose?

It does sound straight forward to just record the date and time of when a profile was last modified but it can get more complicated than that if you consider that profiles may have shared settings. So in that case do all the profiles get "updated" if the user changes a shared settings that is shared by all of them, or not?

Thanks,
Kostas

Especially in SyncBackFree since there is not the option to automatically backup profiles. When changes are made to a profile being able to see the date then one can see if a profile manually backed up has been backed up. The backed up profiles file dates are showed in windows file explorer.

As an additional suggestion in SyncBackSE and SyncBackPro I suggest the auto backup only backup profiles that have been modified since the last backup. In cases where perhaps one has many profiles that are synced between many computers the time saved by only having to transfer the modified profiles would be helpful.

Thanks
