FTP backup does not find existing files

SyncBackFree is the freeware version of SyncBack. It is *not* an evaluation version of SyncBackPro/SE.

FTP backup does not find existing files

Post by MikeDavies1957 »

Hi there, sorry if this is covered elsewhere. For the last couple of months, my existing (website) FTP backup routines have failed because Syncback Free (V10.2.68.0 running in W10) (and SE now, under evaluation) does not find existing files in the target host. It finds the target destination ok, but wants to copy every source item as new. Previously this worked fine and I was presented with a list of updates + new items. Now all items in the source are analysed as new on the target. So currently I have to manually do updates using Filezilla which is more laborious but at least it knows when an update is an update.

Does this sound like something simple which I am overlooking?

thanks

Mike Davies
