I have both a PC and a tablet, both running Windows 11. I have various folders/documents that I keep synchronised between the two.
This morning, on my PC, I ran the profiles to synchronise to my tablet before heading out with my tablet to do some work. During the day, my tablet wanted to do a Windows update and restart, which I allowed to happen. I continued working following this.
This evening, I returned to my PC and attempted to run the various profiles again, however this time I get "Cannot connect to Right: The specified password is invalid". (The right is my tablet).
I've never had this before and have not changed anything other than the Windows update.
The same profiles on the tablet, run perfectly, connecting to my PC and synchronising correctly.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?

On the tablet go to Network and Sharing Center, click on advanced settings, and then turn off password protected sharing.

In the Network and Sharing Center, advanced settings, there are Private Networks, Public networks, and All networks.
The only one that has password protected sharing is 'All Networks'. So I turn that off.
Now when I run a Syncback profile from my PC I get a different message: Failed to prepare Right: Directory\\TABLET\Books\bookname does not exist and cannot be created.

Check for File Sharing in Private or Public Networks is checked on the tablet.

Still no joy.
This is what settings are on the Tablet:
Under Private Networks
Network discovery - On
Set up network connected devices automatically is ticked
File and printer sharing - On
Under Public Networks
Network Discovery - On
File and printer sharing - On
Under All networks
Public Folder Sharing - On
File sharing connections - 128-bit encryption (Recommended)
Password-protected sharing - Off
On my PC:
Private Networks same options as on Tablet
Public Networks
Network discovery - Off
File and Printer Sharing - Off
All Networks
Public folder sharing - Off
File sharing connections 128-bit encryption (Recommended)
Password=protected sharing - Off
As I mentioned in an earlier post. The same SyncBack profile works if I execute it on the tablet, but if I run it on the PC it fails.
Only started happening after my tablet did a Windows 11 update.

Another thing to check; The Tablet should be on a Private Network, go to "Network & internet" then select "WIFI" then the network properties of the network you are connected to and choose "Private network".
