Problem with mirroring if destination is almost full

SyncBackFree is the freeware version of SyncBack. It is *not* an evaluation version of SyncBackPro/SE.

Problem with mirroring if destination is almost full

Post by PatrickCa »

Hi everybody,

I have a backup (mirror) from A to B.

B is an external HD almost full, and when I try to backup A (after changing files in it) to B, a message appears (not enough free space in B), ending the process immediately.

I noticed that if SyncBack could erase first in B the files that must to be eliminated, and then could write all the new ones and the changed ones, the backup would be possible, but the software doesn't do that in that order.

So, is there a way of:

1) first erase all the files in B not present in A [creating additional free space in B]
2) then, and only after that, start writing all the files in A not present in B?

I hope I have explained my problem clearly (my english is so-so at best).
