How-to Connect SyncBack and NAS via OpenVPN ?

SyncBackFree is the freeware version of SyncBack. It is *not* an evaluation version of SyncBackPro/SE.

How-to Connect SyncBack and NAS via OpenVPN ?

Post by Myghalloween »

Hi all

In a first time, sorry for my english (frenchy inside) ! ^^

I installed SyncBack on my laptop (win 7 x64) to synchronize with a remote access with Synology NAS via OpenVPN.
OpenVPN works fine but I can not configure SyncBack (I think the problem is in the network tab) for synchronization to occur.

I try "servername\username" and "serverlocalIP\username", but always network failure : don't found folder =/

Can you help me please ?

Hi, is the OpenVPN connection already open? i.e. is it connected to the VPN? If so then the username and password are the same as if there was no VPN, and that is whatever you set it to be on your NAS device.
