Source and destination

SyncBackFree is the freeware version of SyncBack. It is *not* an evaluation version of SyncBackPro/SE.

Source and destination

Post by kriskillman »

I am new to using this software and got hung up right from the start. I assume Destination is what I want copied. So I entered that without incident. I am assuming the Destination is where I want these files copied too. So I figured it was to SyncBackFree. When I went looking for that I couldn't find it anywhere on my computer even though it is loaded. What am I missing here?

Re: Source and destination

Hi,

I would suggest going through the following tutorials to get a better understanding on how the app is working:
http://www.2brightsparks.com/syncback/h ... rguide.htm
http://www.2brightsparks.com/syncback/h ... rofile.htm

The tutorials refer mostly to SyncBackPro but the principals are the same in all SyncBack apps.

About your question, the Source path is where you are copying your files from, and the Destination path is where you are copying your files to.

Thanks,
Kostas
