archive deleted source files on destination

SyncBackFree is the freeware version of SyncBack. It is *not* an evaluation version of SyncBackPro/SE.

archive deleted source files on destination

Post by cschell »

If files are deleted on the source, rather than deleting on the destination, can I archive the files on the destination?

Hi,

The default settings of a Backup profile copy new/changed files within scope from your Source to Destination (not otherwise de-selected/filtered-out), and also retain files on Destination that are deleted or moved from the Source. It specifically does not delete anything on the Destination that is not on the Source.

However, it's not possible to archive the destination 'only' files (i.e. files that are present only on destination but not on Source) to a different location.

Thank you.
