"Failed to change attributes" = failed backup?

SyncBackFree is the freeware version of SyncBack. It is *not* an evaluation version of SyncBackPro/SE.

"Failed to change attributes" = failed backup?

Post by lphilpot »

Is there a way to tell SyncBackFree not to consider a backup as failed merely because it couldn't change attributes on a subset of files? I can see flagging this as a warning, certainly, but not a total failure. I've never seen any other backup package with the "failure threshold" quite so low, including even commercial / enterprise software like ShadowProtect, Backup Exec, Networker and Avamar (much less desktop backup packages).
