Hi, I was wondering if there is any way in which you can can back up a series of folders, or exclude a subfolder from a folder to be backed up?
For example, I regularly make a backup of a hard drive, but some (quite large) folders do not need to be backed up as they just contain temporary downloads or a game. If I use a group profile, I would need to create dozens of profiles for the folders that do require back up.
Many thanks,
Rudy

Re: Choosing folders to backup
Hi,
You can select files/folders you want to backup and deselect the remaining from:
Modify > Simple > ‘Choose sub-directories and files’ settings page
or add an inclusion (or an exclusion filter) to copy the required files/folders and ignore the remaining under:
Modify > Simple > 'Change Filter' settings page
Please read the help file for more details on filters. With Change Filter settings page opened, press F1 to open the contextual help.
Thank you.
