SBFree changed the destination folder name

SyncBackFree is the freeware version of SyncBack. It is *not* an evaluation version of SyncBackPro/SE.

SBFree changed the destination folder name

Post by lelsenhe »

On a couple of backups, running the profile changes the destination folder name.
For example: set up to back up (mirror actually) to "Backup Program Files". Running the profile changes the name of the actual destination from the above folder to "Program Files", removing the word backup.
The name of the drive (B) is BACKUP but I believe this is the only a coincidence because I also have 7 other profiles backed up to that drive that do not change the name.
If I go to the profile settings, the destination listed is still "B:\Backup Program Files" but re-running the profile saves it to the new folder again ("Program Files"). The original destination folder, yes it did work correctly at least once, is gone. Only the "Program Files" folder is there, with the backed up files.

Please note all references above are to the destination location. The source is "C:\Program Files". (Yes I know a lot will not copy over from that folder).

Any ideas as to what is happening or what setting is different?

Thanks in advance!
