Backup profile failing

SyncBackFree is the freeware version of SyncBack. It is *not* an evaluation version of SyncBackPro/SE.

Backup profile failing

Post by JBenal »

I had to restore my computer (Win 10) from a full backup (Macrium Reflect). Since then, one of my backup profiles has been failing. I'm backing up my Downloads folder to the Downloads folder on another network computer. I have been doing this for a couple of years without issue. Now when I run the profile it fails because 7417 files are located only in the destination folder. I have the profile set to "Do nothing, skip the file" if the file is on the destination only. I have uninstalled and reinstalled SyncBackFree and deleted all the settings. I have run "take ownership" of both the Source and Destination folders. I'm running SyncBackFree V9.0.5.0. Is this a bug in the new version?

Re: Backup profile failing

Post by Swapna »

Hi,

The profile run failed as there were 11 critical errors during the profile run (but not because of the 7417 files only on destination). Please click on the 'Errors (11)' link (on the top of the main html page) to understand the cause of failure.

Thank you.
