rudimentary questions about mirror backing up

SyncBackFree is the freeware version of SyncBack. It is *not* an evaluation version of SyncBackPro/SE.

rudimentary questions about mirror backing up

Post by computercrazy »

Hi. I've been using syncback free to backup only my data on a 64 bit Windows 10 computer. It's been going great until today when syncback is warning me that it will delete files of its own choosing. So some questions.

1) What does the red shading on the file names on the "Destination" side mean? (It's there sometimes even when "copying to destination.")

2) The files syncback is for some reason adding to my source side are NTUSER.DAT files and then it's deleting those files on the Destination side. And there's no size and Date & time for these files on the source side. I'm thoroughly confused. What's up with that?

3) From searching online I see that NTUSER files can be important to the registry. What should I do?

Thanks.
