I recently installed the latest version of SyncBackFree, and unfortunately, this version crashes to the desktop while running a simulation. As in: Disappears without any error message. It also seems to render parts of the task manager incapable, requiring a restart.
Unfortunately I can't download v8 anywhere, thus can't make a backup and have to look for something else.
Possible cause?
I installed a new drive as folder, so I had to uncheck Ignore "NTFS junction points (reparse points)".
There are no other cloud drives or anything in the folder structure.
Another cause could be the 18tb (16,3) capacity of the external drive?

Re: v9: Crash to desktop
Thanks I've done that now.
About the task manager, I noticed the same thing happens when running v8 so it might or might not be related to SyncBack, though I didn't notice that when running any other software as I recall.
