Compressing files already on a disk

SyncBackFree is the freeware version of SyncBack. It is *not* an evaluation version of SyncBackPro/SE.

Compressing files already on a disk

Post by Da5idC »

Good day All
My destination disk is getting full and I want to compress the files I have already backed up.
Can SyncBack Lite do that? If it can't what compression utility should I use? I'm worried that if I use a normal compression utility, the program won't be able to incorporate the compressed files in the next backup.
I can't afford a new disk at the moment (still recovering from the economic pandemic)
All advice will be welcome.
Thanks, David
