SyncBackFree is the freeware version of SyncBack. It is *not* an evaluation version of SyncBackPro/SE.

how to exclude directory on destination for purposed of comparion

Post by lgkahn »

scenario... I copy a folder and all subfolders to my qnap nas as a backup and want them to sync so that the structure and files are the same
therefore, it deletes stuff on the destination that are not on the source.

However, here is the rub.. this is a qnap nas and i have it take snapshots.. which are internal backups so under this directory it creates a subfolder
called @Recently-Snapshot.

and unfortately the sync settings i want would delete the last snapshot.. not desired.. is there a way to specify a filter only on the destination to say dont delete that folder but delete others that are only on the destination?
