Log too big for Gmail -- Any way to control size?

SyncBackFree is the freeware version of SyncBack. It is *not* an evaluation version of SyncBackPro/SE.

Log too big for Gmail -- Any way to control size?

Post by lphilpot »

Subject says it all... I'm getting this error from SyncBackFree (11.3.7.0 on Windows 11):

Error with sending data - data confirmation; Server says: 552-5.3.4 Your message exceeded Google's message size limits. To view our...

The email config itself is good and works fine for smaller datasets. I've looked through the settings, but haven't found anything obvious. So is there a way to send only a summary, for example? Maybe a way to make it less verbose?

Hi,

In SyncBackPro/SE, you can compress the logs into a single zip file and attach it to an email. However, the option "Compress the attached log file and give the attachment a filename of" is not available in SyncBackFree.

If you do not own a copy of SyncBackPro/SE V11 and wish to test its functions, you are welcome to try our fully functional SyncBack, which we offer a free 30-day evaluation.
