I recently upgraded my NAS device and left file compression on in the NAS settings when initialising the raid array.
After setting up an automated backup schedule with Syncback i've realised this is a problem,
as i can no longer compare file size nor last modified date in order to work out which file is newer.
I'm wondering if anyone here has been able to work out a solution to this problem?
or if i'll need to wipe my NAS and start again with file compression off.
Thanks!
