Linux-Support for SB Touch?

Post by DennisK »

Hi guys!

Are there any plans to support Linux with SB Touch? With Android and MacOS you're supporting nearly Linux. Maybe you could do the last step too. [-o<

Maybe you haven't seen, that Ubuntu is available for phones and tablets too. So ýou could do SB Touch with one program for many devices. 8)

Hi,

We will consider supporting Linux-based systems if our development platform supports it in the future. Since Mac OSX and Android are already supported so hopefully it wil be a matter of time.

Thanks,
Kostas

Hey Kostas,

may I ask, what you're using for development? 8)

Has there been any further progress towards a Native Linux solution (I'm currentlly a Linux Mint 17.3 user)?

I'd be very interested in a Syncback Pro 7 version that one could install in Linux!

Cheers,

Greg

Hi,

For SyncBackPro (and SyncBackFree/SE for this matter) there has never been a plan to port to another o/s, besides MS Windows. As for SyncBack Touch, we are still waiting for our development platform to support Linux, so there has been no progress on that.

Thanks,
Kostas

...As would I. Apparently it won't run properly in wine. :-(

I'm a paid user of SyncBackPro and would LOVE a native version of it. I'd happily pay for it again to get it :)
