Path for SD Card in Android 6.01

Post by rine111 »

Does anybody know the path for the external SD card in a Galaxy Note 4 on Android 6.01?
I cannot find the external card when I try to allocate a source in a new profile I am offered the internal card. I have already enabled the external card in Touch.

Hi,

Have a look under the '/storage' folder under the root folder. In there there should be another folded named in xxxx-xxxx format which points to the actual external SD card.

Thanks,

Thanks. I confirm this works.

For the Galaxy Note 4 running Android 6.01 (at least on mine) the path to the external SD card is, for example,

\storage\1005-73C5\Documents\MyFiles
