backup process

Post by kvn864 »

Hello
I wish someone could help. I have a file to backup, using SBP and SBT, the file is over 4GB in size, and the speed is very slow, takes about 24 hours to complete. What happens is that the backup process will go almost to the completion (or in the middle of transfer), and then for some reason or the other I get an error "Failed to copy from SyncBack Touch : Timeout while waiting for response."
The internet connection where SBT is installed is not very reliable. I have a check box under "the connection is very slow" but it doesn't help.
Is there a way to resume the transfer? it always starts from the beginning. where does it store the temp file?
Thank you guys.
