Vous parlez Français ?? (Tiny country in Europe)

SyncBackFree is the freeware version of SyncBack. It is *not* an evaluation version of SyncBackPro/SE.

Hi,

Are you prompted to enter the password when creating or editing a schedule task?

If yes, please note that the prompt is coming from Windows Task Scheduler, not SyncBack. Note we do not have a scheduler in SyncBack. We rely on Windows Task Scheduler(WTS) to trigger our program on the scheduled date/time to run the tasks. When you create a Schedule within a profile, we are only providing a drill-down into the Windows Task Scheduler interface through our program settings interface to facilitate SyncBack users in the creation and configuration of a Scheduled Task.

Therefore, when you create a schedule task in SyncBack, the Task scheduler of your Windows is requesting for the user’s Windows password. You need to enter the correct Windows login password to create/edit the schedule task.

Thank you.
